Part Time Merchandising Executive
Job Role: Part Time

Working for Cadbury as a part-time MERCHANDISING EXECUTIVE is all about ‘Looking after Number 1’.

You are required to call on Multiple and Grocery outlets within a specific geographical area to optimise and increase sales of Cadbury products and achieve display excellence at every point of purchase.

You will be responsible for:

• Building relationships at all levels: store manager, section managers/supervisors, other members of store staff
• Selling to and influencing these contacts in order to increase sales of Cadbury confectionery lines
• Stock management and merchandising/maintaining displays
• Implementation of visibility kits and other POS
• Store audits
• Reporting via a hand held terminal
• Communication with line manager
• 4 weekly call cycle

This exciting part-time position will provide you with the opportunity to meet the challenges of involvement in a major sales merchandising operation together with real prospects for future personal development.

You will be required to work 24 hours per week across either three, four or five days each week between Monday and Friday between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30pm and attend a Team Meeting every four weeks, for which you will be paid.

We offer competitive rates of pay with all business mileage is reimbursed at 29p per mile along with a fixed allowance for business expenses. There is also the opportunity to earn further incentives through meeting specified objectives and targets. In addition to paid holiday, there is the benefit of receiving your pay and expenses by direct credit to your bank account on a weekly basis.

Working as a Support Sales Merchandising Executive you will provide coverage for vacant territories, sickness and holidays along with additional support to existing consultants where there is no opportunity for coverage.

You are required to call on Multiple and Grocery outlets within a specific geographical area to optimise and increase sales of Cadbury products and achieve display excellence at every point of purchase.

You will be responsible for:

Part Time Team Manager
Job Role: Part Time

Details of the Role:

The effective management and motivation of a team of Merchandising Executives in order to increase sales of Cadbury products and achieve display excellence at every point of purchase. Your team will be calling on Grocery and Multiple Impulse outlets.

The Team Manager role involves:

• Achieving team targets for:

o Call coverage
o Distribution
o Availability
o Planogram compliance
o Secondary sitings
o Store sales growth within the area

This is achieved by:

•Recruiting, training and the effective management of the Merchandising Executives

•Working regularly with each ME for the purpose of field training, communication and motivation and spending a minimum of 1 day per 4 weeks with each Executive.

•Regular auditing of ME calls for the purpose of quality control and to identify any training needs

•Analysis of team and individual results

•Planning and conducting training programmes for your team according to their individual needs

•Planning and conducting team meetings every four weeks

•Operating specified administration and control systems

•Liaising with relevant Cadbury BDE’s with regard to outlets and opportunities on your area

•Reporting weekly to Regional Field Manager in respect of Team performance.

•Regular and effective communication at all levels : verbal, written and email (TMs are all provided with a laptop and printer)

•Management of cost control and expenses ensuring spend is and remains within budget
